I am a teacher, dog mom to a perfect English Springer Spaniel, runner, and wife to Nils. All three of us moved from Salt Lake City, UT to Annecy, France in June of 2024 while on the pursuit of career growth and a grand adventure, if you will. I am 33-years-old, and am not even trying to pretend that I know what I am doing as I refind my footing every other day, though sometimes hourly.

Dorothy is my grandmother. This blog is for her, and for those who wish to join her as I attempt to document my life in France, and as a person trying (very much so) to end my days acknowledging the lows, but remembering the highs.
